NULC Academy for Theatre Arts Student Francessca Mills successfully auditioned to play the part of Pudsey Bear for this years BBC Children In Need.

Performing Arts students taught by special guest teacher

Tom has worked alongside the legendary Whoopi Goldberg, in the London production of Sister Act: The Musical, where he played TJ, and has been a member of pop Boyband The One, who had their own television series on GMTV and toured the UK and Europe with various other pop acts, such as Boyzone, Peter Andre, and Eternal.
Thomas has just finished playing Topthorn/Joey Hind a puppeteer in War Horse.
Performing Arts students join forces with local charity
NULC Performing Arts students are working with the Caudwell Children's Charity to present the 5th Bollywood Hollywood Ball on Friday 30 November 2012 at Fenton Manor Sports Complex.
The NULC students will present a very spectacular Hollywood Cabaret and will open the night with an impressive Jai Ho dance number. Hosted by Tommy Sandhu, BBC Asian Network and featuring an exclusive performance from UK Asian Music Award winner Mumzy Stranger.

Performing Arts students critique for local radio
NULC Performing Arts Students Chandler Deakin and Rebecca Woolley were interviewed on BBC Radio Stoke to give their opinion on Strictly Come Dancing and the X Factor programmes which were on TV at the weekend.
The girls were natural broadcasters and have been asked back to review the programmes again in four weeks.

Students hit the airwaves
Second year NULC Performing Arts students Alex Mellor and Oliver Ramsdale
became Signal Radio presenters for day.
The talented duo were invited to Signal Radio to promote the Student Showcase which takes place on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 June at the Mitchell Memorial Theatre in Hanley.
